Container Photos

We finally got the all the photos together from the day our container arrived and have put together a new photo gallery for you to enjoy. As you’ll see, along with 30,000 curriculum books, there were a few other big items on the container. Namely, 2 wave runners and 2 riding lawnmowers.

Now before you get to thinking that we’ll be heading to the lake every weekend to play with our toys, these items are actually here for us to sell to help support the ministry. We should be able to resell these wave runners here in South Africa for at least twice as much as they cost in the States. Same goes for the lawnmowers as well. Though we are actually going to keep one of those to make sure the lawn on our property stays nice and trim. As of now we haven’t sold anything yet, but please keep it in your prayers that God would bring us the right buyers for these items to bring more money into the ministry. Of course, we’ve had to go out and “test” the wave runners to make sure they work. It would just be bad stewardship if we didn’t! (Note the sarcasm…)

We would like to send out a huge thank you to the two partners who graciously donated the wave runners and lawnmowers. Donating items like this is just one more way for people like yourself to invest in the people of Southern Africa. Let us know if you might be interested in donating items like this in the future. We’re going to be bring out another container at the end of the year and we’d love to pack it full!

   how is the testing phase? successful? that’s too bad that you couldn’t keep just one…:)

   seeing the pictures was really great – except there was no van Rensburg representation!
