At the beginning of each term, the Leadership Summit team gets together and decides on a goal to focus on. This term the coaches wanted to focus on leading more students into having a relationship with God.  Although this is always one of our goals, they specifically wanted to focus on this over everything else.

Busisiwe wrote, “Everything I do, I don’t do it for Thrive Africa. I do it for my God because I understand that I am doing God’s work. I know that verse that says ‘how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard and how can they hear without someone preaching to them.’  That is the why I do this job.  We bring good news to  the students.”

The coaches are constantly bringing Good News to the students. Not only are coaches giving their students a chance to choose Christ, but the students are asking themselves how they can.

“My students told me they want to be born-again and asked what they can do.  We explained to it to them and they were interested to change their lives.” – Patricia

This has to be some of the sweetest music to a pastor’s ears. I would be covered with goosebumps.
