During a weekly excursion to Qwa Qwa for Leadership Summit, we encountered an unlikely event. While driving we noted a large black mass coming towards us down the mountain highway. As we continued to get ever closer we could discern that the mass was in actuality a herd of fleeing black cattle. These cattle were running at breakneck speed towards us while taking up almost the entire highway!

Cautiously we slowed the vehicle down and with a lot of horn honking and laughing we made it safely past the runaway herd. Just another awesome example of how BIG God is as He protects us from the unexpected that occurs with missionary life!

HA HA I know it probably wasn’t funny at the time but I have video of other times this same thing happened. Awesome culture experience.

And I though cows were just for eating. See how growing up in Texas ruins a persons perspective.

By the way you can attribute all of your laughter and excitement from the stampede to God…they were His sent just for your fun… http://bible.cc/psalms/50-10.htm

This was hilarious, I had never seen anything like it! I think the best part about it was that when the questions “What is that?” was posed, Amanda answered, “I think it’s people!”
