Meet the Coaches

The Leadership Summit program is taught by these incredible Basotho young adults. Each one has a passion to reach the lost in Qwa Qwa and gives their all in teaching students more about Jesus Christ.

Jwalane

Jwalane Dunjane

Jwalane joined Thrive Africa as a Coach in 2007. Her most prized possession is her church because that is where she receives encouragement and has the opportunity to fellowship with other Believers. Jwalane feels that she can deal with anything that comes her way because God lives within her, and He is greater than the one who lives in this world.

Rebecca

Rebecca Hans

Rebecca loves to smile because she knows she is a temple of the Holy Spirit. This attitude flows into her Leadership Summit classes, where she pours into her students, helping them find their God-given purposes in life and teaches them to be good leaders. Since 2007, when she joined Thrive Africa, she has looked forward to the weekly Coach meetings, where she has the opportunity to further develop herself as a leader.

Daniel

Daniel Lebakeng

Daniel began working as a Coach with Thrive Africa in 2007. He likes working with Leadership Summit because so many lives have been changed since the program first began. Teaching the students that they can reach their highest potential and destiny is Daniel’s main goal as a Coach. Daniel loves that God created him with a purpose and that is the message he works tirelessly to instill in young people.

Lettia

Lettia Mahlophe

Lettia loves to serve other people. It is this attribute that has lead her to work with Leadership Summit as a Core Coach. She works closely with the schools who are currently participating in the Leadership Summit program, staying in contact with them and bridging the gap between school leadership and Leadership Summit staff. She also assists in the recruitment of new schools for participation in the program.

Emily

Emily Malakwane

Emily is excited about being part of the Thrive team, and says that her favorite part about being a coach is that she is driven to be closer to God. She loves knowing that she has an opportunity to teach spiritual truths to students.

Tshidi

Tshidi Mofokeng

Tshidi started working with Leadership Summit as a Coach in 2007. She is a vibrant young woman who likes to talk and smile, which has a positive effect on each of her classes. She believes that through God anything is possible and knows that He is moving in students’ lives. Tshidi says that it is through her participation in Leadership Summit that she has learned to love her students as if they were her own children.

Joseph

Joseph Mokoena

Joseph has worked with Leadership Summit since 2007. His first priority in life is getting to know different people and sharing the Word of God with them. This priority is evident in his work as a Coach, where he has the opportunity to share the Word of God with students each week. Joseph strives to encourage his students and help them with their problems.

Thapelo

Thapelo Moletsane

When you first meet Thapelo, his energy and excitement towards life is something you’ll never forget. He joined Thrive Africa in 2008 as a way to preach the Good News. Thapelo loves the outdoors and wants to eventually become a Tour Guide.

Busisiwe

Busisiwe Mosia

After hearing about Thrive Africa in 2008, Busisiwe became a Coach. As a Sunday School teacher in her church, she is well aware of the struggles that affect her community and believes that everything is possible when you work as a team. Busisiwe is married and has three children.

Disebo

Disebo Sekaleli

Disebo joined Thrive because she loves having the opportunity of telling students that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. She loves God and loves people- so serving as a coach is a perfect fit for her!

Dimakatso

Dimakatso Letaoana

Dimakatso decided to join Leadership Summit as a coach after she discovered that we bring the Word of God into the school system. Her heart is to help guide and show the youth of Qwa Qwa the best way to live through God’s promises.

Thulo

Thulo Mile

Thulo is passionate about following God’s plan for his life. He knows that working with Leadership Summit and the students of Qwa Qwa brings him one step closer to reaching his goal of touching the youth of the world.

Amos

Amos Mofokeng

Amos is passionate about reaching others with the love of God. He believes that his three strengths of listening, courage (to persevere) and patience will be of great benefit in a classroom of learners. Amos is excited about being a part of Leadership Summit!

Sibongile

Sibongile Mofokeng

Sibongile is a hard worker who loves to go the extra mile to get the job done. Sibongile’s dream is to bring as many young people to the Lord as possible. She believes her work with Leadership Summit will help her achieve that dream as she shares God’s truths with the youth of QwaQwa.

Pheello

Pheello Mofokeng

Pheello brings to Leadership Summit a love for people and a heart for prayer. All who have an opportunity to meet and talk to Pheello experience God’s love flowing through him. His genuine heart for the Lord is apparent in all that he does.

Constance

Limakatso (Constance) Mokati

Constance is an active Sunday School teacher and part of her church worship team. She is excited to incorporate truths from God’s Word in teaching students about HIV/AIDS. Constance believes that by bringing the Word to the students she can impact them with the love of God.

Eric

Eric Mokoena

Eric has experienced God’s forgiveness and grace and has seen the love of God in action. He is thrilled to share truths from God’s Word with the youth of QwaQwa in a relevant way through the Leadership Summit curriculums.

Pheko Piterse

Pheko Piterse

Pheko believes in leading by example, which prompted his desire to become a Coach. This position allows him to be an example as he teaches youth about God’s plan for their life. Pheko loves people and sharing his testimony, which has already impacted many learners.

Nnini Sibeko

Nnini Sibeko

Nnini is passionate about life and she loves to learn. Her excitement and passion for life is contagious and her student’s benefit from this as she teaches her Leadership Summit classes from her heart.

Thabang

Thabang Tshabalala

Thabang spent the early years of his life on the streets and he committed his life to Christ in 2006 while in prison. God radically transformed his life and now Thabang is passionate about sharing the love of God with others so they too can experience freedom found only in Christ.
