Alicia Coleman
Age: 22
Hometown: Coquitlam, British Columbia
As the only Canadian intern this year, Alicia might go back to her hometown of Vancouver with a little bit of an American accent. She’s excited to love on the children of the Hope House and for God to shine His light in and through her throughout this year. Alicia plans to pursue long-term missions and is excited to explore that further while serving with us in 2010!

Alaina Mauch
Age: 18
Hometown: Whitehouse, TX
Alaina has a lot of short-term missions experience (she’s been on 8 mission trips, to places like Mexico and Botswana). So, she’s excited to have the opportunity to learn more about what it takes to do full-time missions as she serves alongside us in 2010. Hailing from Whitehouse, Texas, it’s no surprise that she loves Mexican food. Alaina is listening to a lot of Leeland these days and has a soft-spot for Disney movies.

Jenna McKee
Age: 22
Hometown: Fort Valley, VA
Jenna came to South Africa last summer on a short-term mission trip with her church. After serving with us for a couple of weeks, she knew she had to be back! Prior to coming to South Africa she received a BS in psychology and women’s studies from the University of Mary Washington. Jenna is excited to use this year to see what God has in store for her future, all while learning as much as she can from those around her.

Jessica Yazzie
Age: 19
Hometown: William, AZ
Jessica is looking forward to experiencing God’s power and love through ministry while serving with us. With a family that is missions-oriented, it’s no surprise that Jessica is passionate about the Great Commission. She loves horseback riding and has a passion for worship music. Not only does she play various instruments, Jessica also loves writing songs.
